Subsist: A REcital
On April 22nd, 2016, Erik Fredriksen premiered several original electronic compositions in 8.1 Surround Sound, and full lighting using Max MSP and Ableton Live. The audio in stereo on Erik's soundcloud, and a video recording of Act II is available on YouTube.

Tinkering with tinko: Episode 1
Erik composed music and sound designed for Tinkering With Tinko, his group's final project for their Experimental Sound Synthesis class. It is a children's TV show where a magician/engineer interacts with his creations; this time, he is teaching a robot toy piano how to play music! Erik's compositions consist of an intro, outro and several jingles. He also wrote the script and blocking.
Erik has composed, recorded, mixed and mastered a significant amount of Metal/Jazz/Electronic under the moniker "Half Face". He plays all the instruments, including Drum Set, Electric Guitar, Electric/Upright Bass, and Keyboards. This music can be found on his Bandcamp.
Moon Arts Project
Erik Fredriksen has composed a piece called Neptune on Fire for the Moon Arts Project, in which a sculpture known as the MoonArk will be sent to the moon. The waveforms of the accepted compositions are engraved on a titanium ring as part of the MoonArk's structure. The MoonArk is being created as “a deep human gift and gesture for the Moon”.
Erik has written several songs MD/VA metal band Samsara, with whom he provides Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards and Bass and helps record, mix and master.
